I have incredible friends. Life is good.

I'm sort of a straight shooter.

Like anyone, you could love someone, and it doesn't mean that you're equipped or you were taught or have the patience or the love or the wherewithal to be a good parent. One has nothing to do with the other.

I'm not an immigrant - I was born and raised in New York. My parents are Puerto Rican, and Puerto Rico is a part of the U.S., for the people that don't know. So my whole life, I've identified as an American. There are times when I've gone to Puerto Rico, and there, I'm seen as the American cousin.

I know that for me, whenever I'm in a situation where there's death or sickness, my personality is to come in and do whatever I can to ease anything I can, in terms of offering to take care of things. Cooking, organizing, things like that.

As a human being, you can't not connect to the chaos that exists around the world on a day-to-day, or things that you've seen on the news just here domestically.

When you have a tough childhood, you either cry or make a joke.

Parts of you die with every decision you have to make. It becomes about making decisions between bad decisions and worse decisions.

I love being super-tough, but if I need to put on a dress and do my hair and makeup, I can do that, too.

I have a little bit of extra testosterone, and it's good to put it to work when I can.
